Determine if the impellers in your garbage disposal are not turning.

Go under the sink to get entry to the disposal.

Find the hex holes.

Remove any debris that is caught in the disposal's flywheel.

Loosen the lock nut on the flywheel and take away it, if you believe the problem is induced by using the impeller blades.

Remove all the hose fittings that are related to the disposal flywheel and impellers.

Remove particles in the impellers, if that is the reason of the problem.

Sharpen impellers in location or with the aid of removing them.
